About Bodhichitta
Bodhichitta, or the mind of enlightenment, is one of the greatest gifts of Buddhist thought to our world. Bodhichitta takes the pure minds of great love and great compassion to their fullest expression. The heartfelt wish to attain enlightenment for the sake of all of our fellow living beings inspires us with kindness, courage and wisdom beyond measure. To have the opportunity just to hear these teachings is a blessing. To receive instruction on how to bring bodhichitta into our own lives is very rare good fortune.
This teaching event offers a marvellous chance to hear the compassionate wisdom of a highly-accomplished and treasured lama.

A long-time friend of Geshe Loden
The Society’s founder and spiritual guide, Venerable Geshe Acharya Thubten Loden, always praised Geshe Doga’s qualities, and was very appreciative of his kindness and friendship to Geshe Loden and the Tibetan Buddhist Society over many years.
They were born in a similar area in eastern Tibet, although in different decades.
Along with many other monks and Tibetans, they made the journey to India following His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s departure from Tibet in 1959. Both maintained their intensive Dharma studies.
Registration is required by May 1
There is a $20 facility charge and $15 concession – both including the refreshments.
Proceeds support the maintenance of the Tibetan temple and gardens. The Enjoyment Shop will be open after the session.
