You’re invited to attend the next Community Meeting of the Tibetan Buddhist Society at the Peaceful Land of Joy at 2pm on Saturday 21 May, followed by afternoon tea at 3:30pm.

This meeting is open to all and is an opportunity to participate in the growth of the TBS. You can attend the meeting online but we’d love to see you in person.

We have a draft agenda. However, we would warmly welcome items suggested by other members of our community. If you would like to raise, and ideally present an item to the meeting, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing cst@tushita.org.

As with the previous meetings, the meeting will run 90 minutes with half of the time allocated to agenda items and the other half to open discussion and/or questions. Here’s a list of possible agenda topics so far:

  • maintaining maintenance? how and why – help needed!
  • achievements since last meeting
  • our charitable activities: ideas for the future?
  • how do we best connect with and support our members?
  • ideas for retreat topics anyone?
  • Dharma study group pilot?

If you are planning to attend the meeting either in person or online, could you please RSVP to cst@tushita.org by 18 May to help us with catering for onsite participants and to enable us to send a link to online participants.

We hope to see you there.
